OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer known for its affordable flagship devices has just revealed the design of its upcoming tablet, the OnePlus Pad. The company shared official renders of the device and a teaser video on its official website and social media accounts.
The OnePlus Pad boasts a sleek and minimalist design, with a thin bezel around the edge-to-edge display. The device looks premium with a glass back and a metal frame. It has a thickness of 7.8mm. The tablet features a USB-C port, a headphone jack, and a fingerprint sensor for added security.
OnePlus Pad Design & Specifications
OnePlus has not confirmed the specifications of the device. However, it is expected to have an 11.6-inch high-resolution display, fast charging capabilities, and powerful performance. The device will feature a centrally aligned circular camera module at the back. The company has also hinted at the inclusion of a stylus with the tablet, which will be a great add-on for productivity and creativity.
As per the leaked renders by Onleaks, the frame has the volume keys on the right side and a cutout for housing a stylus. The front camera is positioned at the right edge, which suggests that the tablet is built to use in landscape mode.
The teaser is live on the company’s website under the Cloud 11 event page. Nevertheless, the teaser confirms the green colour on the tablet and looks quite similar to the leaked renders. Thus, confirming the legitimacy of the leaks. MySmartPrice was the first to spot the OnePlus tablet in the testing phases under the codename “Aries”.
