Nokia X6, the first Nokia smartphone with a notch was launched in China last month. The smartphone has managed to generate a lot of attention not only in China but in other markets as well. There was no word by HMD about the Global availability of the device at the official unveiling. In the meantime the device was listed on the Bluetooth certification sites hinting at the Nokia X6 India launch. The smartphone has been a hit in Chinese market, with stocks selling out in seconds.

Now, the Nokia X6’s support page has gone live on Indian website. The phone’s User Guide on the Indian website details all the necessary information and features of the phone. The support page also notes that the device complies with all the DoT regulations in the country.

The Nokia X6 India launch looks eminent after the details on the support page. The Nokia X6 features a notch display, a vertically stacked dual cameras at the back with a fingerprint sensor right below it with all glass design. The smartphone is available in two storage variants, the 4GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,299 (approx. Rs 13,800) and the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs 16,000). While we expect an announcement of Nokia X6 India launch, let’s have look at the spec sheet of the device.
While the speculations are ripe, it is possible that HMD Global might not launch the X6 under some other name. According to recent reports form NPU, HMD Global might launch two new phone with notch in India.
Nokia X6 Specifications
The Nokia X6 features a 19:9 5.8-inch (1080X2280p) Full HD+ Display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC, coupled with up to 6GB RAM. It sports a dual rear camera with a primary 16MP RGB sensor and a secondary 5MP monochrome sensor. The front camera is a 16MP shooter. The phone has dual-SIM support and comes with up to 64GB on-board storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
The device comes with 3060mAh battery with a USB-C connector. The camera features Advanced AI Technology to improve photo imaging quality. The device comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 which claims to charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes. The device has a hybrid SIM slot which is common these days.
