OnePlus Buds tipped as first OnePlus TWS earphones

OnePlus has already dropped a hint that it is looking to increase its product portfolio. Now, the famous tipster Max J has revealed the design of the upcoming OnePlus TWS earphones a few days ago. The tipster revealed in the replies that the earphones will be called OnePlus Buds and not OnePlus Bullets Buds.
The charging case looks reminiscent of Google’s latest-generation Pixel Buds design while the front LED light indicates the charge status. The OnePlus Buds might feature a design inspired by the Apple AirPods, with long stems.
OnePlus is expected to launch its first pair of truly wireless earphones in July, alongside the long-rumored OnePlus Z smartphone. The handset is expected to be a mid-range offering from the brand right under the flagship smartphones the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau recently dropped a hint that the phone might be launched in India first. Pete added that the company plans to expand its product portfolio and build an ecosystem of connected devices. Hence, we can expect a lot more OnePlus devices other than smartphones, smart TVs, and maybe a smartwatch? Who knows?
As far as the design of the earbuds is concerned, they look similar to the recently launched Oppo Enco Free. Both companies share a lot of similarities in terms of product design and technology used on their devices.
OnePlus has recently launched its Bullets Wireless Z earphones along with the OnePlus 8 series in India. Rumors are hot about the upcoming affordable smartphone by OnePlus. The brand is determined to launch new IoT devices to build an ecosystem of connected devices.

OnePlus will compete against the already crowded market of hearables in India. Many Chinese manufacturers like Xiaomi, Realme, and Oppo have recently launched their TWS earphones in the country.
