Realme Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A smartphones have been launched in India. The smartphones were initially scheduled to launch in March but the nationwide lockdown due to Coronavirus forced companies to hold their product launches. Realme is known for its affordable performance-centric offerings and these devices are no different. The company says that these devices are optimized for enhanced gaming performance.

The Realme Narzo 10 is a re-branded Realme 6i, which was launched in Myanmar. It sports a MediaTek G80 chipset, a 6.5-inch display, 48MP quad rear cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery with fast-charging support. The Narzo 10A is a more affordable variant of the Narzo 10. Realme Narzo 10 specifications include a 6.5-inch HD+ display with teardrop notch for the selfie camera. It is the first smartphone in the country to sport a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. The chipset is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage onboard. The storage can be further expanded up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

In terms of optics, the phone features quad rear cameras comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 119-degree field-of-view, a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP monochrome sensor with f/2.4 lens. The Narzo 10 features a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling.

A 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support over USB Type-C port fuels the mobile phone. While Realme UI based on Android 10 takes care of the software side of things. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. The connectivity options are pretty standard with Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE dual SIM slots, and GPS/ GLONASS.

Realme Narzo 10A is the more affordable variant of the Narzo 10. The Narzo 10A has a 6.5-inch HD+ teardrop notch display with 720p resolution just like its elder sibling. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and features Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone has a 2GHz MediaTek Helio G70 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Realme UI based on Android 10 out of the box.

The Realme Narzo 10A is the first smartphone by the brand to feature triple rear cameras. The cameras consist of a 12MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the handset features a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calling, with features such as AI Beautification, HDR, Timelapse, etc.

Narzo 10A also derives its power by a 5,000mAh battery. To make the device affordable, the company had to cut down on fast-charging. Thus, the Narzo 10A supports 10W charging over a micro-USB port. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security purposes. The connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE dual SIM slots, and GPS/ GLONASS.

Realme Narzo 10, Narzo 10A price and availability in India

The Realme Narzo 10 is available in a 4GB/128GB storage variant only and is priced at ₹11,999. The smartphone comes in That White and That Green color options. As for the Narzo 10A, it bears a price tag of ₹8,499 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant. The device will be available in ‘So White’ and ‘So Blue’ color options.

The Narzo series is exclusive to Flipkart but you can always order it via Realme.com. The Narzo 10 will go on sale on 18th May at 12 PM, while the Narzo 10A will go on sale at 12 PM on 22nd May.
