Realme will be launching its first-ever smart TV in India on May 25th. Realme TV will be sold via Flipkart and the product page is already live on the e-commerce website. The product page on Flipkart confirms that the smart TV will come with a bezel-less display for an “immersive smart cinema experience”. Realme TV will be powered by a 64-bit MediaTek chipset. The Chroma Boost picture engine promise 20% more brightness up to 400 nits.
The Realme TV touts an edge-to-edge display with minimal bezels providing a premium feel to the device. The teaser images also confirm that the smart TV will be the first in its segment to be powered by a 64-bit MediaTek quad-core processor that comprises of ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs and Mali-470 MP3 GPU. In terms of audio, the Realme TV will feature four speakers with a 24W stereo output and Dolby Audio support, another first in the segment.
The teaser also suggests smart AI capabilities such as turning on the TV using voice command. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the Realme TV will run on the Android TV platform, thus, we expect Google Assistant support.
Earlier leaks of retail packaging suggest that the TV will be available in 108cm or 43-inch with Netflix support. However, the Bluetooth certification suggests 32-inch and 55-inch variants.
How to Blind order for Realme TV works?
Realme TV is available for a Blind order on Realme.com ahead of the India launch on 25th May.
- The company will be accepting the Blind orders between 18th May to 24th May where you will have to deposit ₹2,000.
- You can deposit the remaining amount once the price is revealed on 25th May and you will be credited by a ₹500 coupon on 1st June.
- The coupon can be used between 1st June to 30th June on orders above ₹5,000.
The Realme TV will be launching on 25th May alongside the Realme smartwatch as the company looks to expand its IoT product portfolio in the country.
