Samsung is one of the most trusted smartphone brands in India and the manufacturer is looking to build upon that. As expected, Samsung has announced its most affordable smartphone in A-series. Samsung Galaxy A12 is priced under ₹15,000 and will directly take on the likes of Realme 7, Redmi Note 9, and others in the segment. The Galaxy A12 features an Infinity-V display with a teardrop notch for the selfie camera, a quad-camera module at the back, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

Samsung Galaxy A12 sports a stunning 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity V display with a teardrop notch for the selfie camera. It is a 60Hz display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC paired with PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
In terms of storage, it is available in 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
The phone comes with OneUI 2.5 based on Android 10 out of the box. It is powered by a massive 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W adaptive fast-charging and sports a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing.
Talking of the cameras, the Galaxy A12 has a quad-camera set-up at the back with a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots, and a 2MP macro unit for close-up shots. There is an 8MP snapper for selfies and video calls at the front and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. However, being a Galaxy A-series device the Galaxy A12 features Knox security. In terms of design, the device has a matte polycarbonate back which offers great grip in hand.

Samsung Galaxy A12 price in India
Samsung Galaxy A12 will be available in 3 colors: White, Blue, Black. It will be available in India in 2 storage variants, the 4GB/64GB variant is priced at ₹12,999 while the 128GB variant is priced at ₹13,999. The phone will be available across retail stores, Samsung.com, and leading online portals starting from today, February 17, 2021.
