Reliance Jio has surely triggered a telecom war. Telecom giants like Airtel, Vodafone, BSNL and Idea have all failed to combat Reliance Jio’s free internet and free calling plans. Indian consumers have benefitted a lot from Reliance Jio’s aggressive strategies by introducing the Happy New Year offer from 1st January 2017. Reliance Jio is giving away 1GB high-speed 4G data per day after which the speed decreases to 128kbps, while the calling remains free.
