Reliance Jio has been in the news from the very first day of its commencement. The company has completely changed the Telecom game in India. It has forced the well-established Telecom operators like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone to offer free calling facility. The company is all set to disrupt the broadband market now with Jio Fiber. The company recently, accidentally updated Jio Fiber Plans on its official website.
However, the URL is not accessible any longer. But on the Internet, nothing is permanently removed.
Earlier leaks have already revealed the locations where Jio Fiber will be launched initially.

What is Jio Fiber?
Jio Fiber is a fibre optic based broadband service, offering high-speed Internet with speed up to 100 Mbps. Stream 4K videos, connect multiple devices & enjoy Digital Life.
Jio Fiber Plans and Preview offer
As per the website, Jio is going to offer 100 GB of data, at a speed of 100 Mbps, and the services shall be free for 3 months. After 100GB the speed will drop to 1 Mbps. You will have to pay a security deposit of Rs 4500 to avail the facility.
Jio Fiber Location Details
Jio Fiber would be initially launched in these cities: Ahmedabad, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Surat, Vadodara, and Vishakhapatnam.

Under each city, Jio also shared the exact building complexes and locations where the service would be rolled out.
Jio Fiber: A mesh of Routers
It looks like Jio has installed a custom router in the mentioned building complex/localities. You can also use your own router and it might result in a lower security deposit.
We also came across an option which states: “I am interested in enhancing Jio coverage in my building”. It means that Jio is expanding their network, via a mesh network of routers.
Jio does not want to rush into the broadband industry instead they are seeking assistance from the users. This will give a real time testing environment to the company and they will be able to deploy their services as per the market demands.
