LG V30 has been in the news for quite some time now for its camera capabilities, design and the big bezel-less display. LG has already sent out the invites for the event on August 31 and with just two weeks to go we have an all sides LG V30 leaked images by Evan Blass which shows the device from all sides. LG has also announced the new UI for its upcoming phones earlier with rounded corners.
The press renders featured in the Tweet, reveal the device’s front, rear, and sides in a silver color variant. The device looks much like the LG G6 and differs from its predecessor LG V20 in some significant ways.
The V series from LG were known for their secondary displays but not anymore LG has ditched the secondary display for a software-based “Floating Bar” which can be swiped away when not in use. LG has also managed to reduce the Bezels and provide an edge to edge display with very little chins at the top and bottom. The smartphone has a sleek metallic finish, with edges showing the antenna bands. The volume rockers are seen on the left edge, while the SIM slot is seen on the right edge of the smartphone.

The LG V30 leaked images doesn’t appear to include a power button, it has seemingly been integrated into the fingerprint sensor on the rear of the device. There’s a horizontal dual camera setup at the back of the LG V30 render with the flash sitting beside it, the fingerprint sensor and the LG logo sitting below it.
LG V30 will feature the company’s custom Android UI, i.e. UX 6.0+, which has been optimized to work better with the OLED FullVision display (aspect ratio of 18:9). The company has also said that the UX 6.0+ offers more personalization alongside the new camera, security and Always-On Display tricks.
LG V30 will be the first smartphone product to house a camera with a f/1.6 aperture lens, said to receive 25 percent more light when compared to a f/1.8 lens like found on the LG G6 or any other Flagship devices present in the market.
The smartphone is expected to come in two variants offering 64GB and 128GB internal storage respectively. Both the variants are set to sport 6-inch OLED QHD+ Full Vision display. The key difference between both the variants of the LG V30 has been tipped to be in the audio department and wireless charging capabilities. However, it is currently unclear which smartphone will get which of these features.
LG V30’s leaked software also shows an Always-On display will also feature shortcuts for music controls, photos, camera, and notifications.
On the security part, the V30 comes with an Always-On face recognition, active even when the display is off, without pressing the power button. LG will use some secondary sensors to detect motion as keeping the front camera active constantly would result in a massive battery drain. Voice Recognition through Qualcomm’s Aqstic voice UI will allow V30 owners to securely unlock their phones through a predetermined wake phrase.
Powering it will be a 3,200mAh battery which will support quick charging. Following its predecessor’s footsteps, LG V30 will also be the first device to ship with Android O.
