Nothing is a brand new consumer electronics company with the OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei at the helm. Carl Pei has managed to create enough hype about their first product that is a Truly wireless earbud. Ear 1, company’s first product is due to launch on 27th July. The company has finally revealed that the Nothing Ear 1 TWS will cost you ₹5,999 in India.
While speaking with Techcrunch, Carl Pei has revealed some of the features of the upcoming TWS earbuds. Pei said that the earbuds are going to offer stereo sound with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Carl Pei also revealed that the Ear 1 will cost $99, €99, and £99.
Nothing Ear 1 TWS Price in India
The pricing of the Ear 1 TWS earbud will be $99 in the US. It translates to roughly ₹7,500. However, the company has aggressively priced Ear 1 at ₹ 5,999 in the Indian market via Flipkart. This puts the earbud in competition with the upcoming OnePlus Buds Pro. The OnePlus Buds Pro is due to launch alongside the OnePlus Nord 2 on 22nd July.
Nothing Ear 1 TWS Features
Carl Pei also revealed that the Ear 1 earbuds sport Apple Airpods Pro like features. He also explained the cost of maintaining a transparent design while keeping it under $100. The Ear 1 will feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) along with three high-definition mics.
While talking with Techcrunch, Pei also informed that Ear 1 is one of the three products company has in the pipeline. Nothing is determined to distinguish its product by design. Teenage Engineering’s co-founders are steering the company’s design philosophy.

Ear 1 TWS earbuds will compete against the ever-crowded TWS market dominated by Sony, Apple, and Samsung. I expect the Nothing Ear 1 TWS to come with features like quick pair, ANC, gaming mode, etc.
Value for Money
When it comes to India, the biggest question is how much value are you able to provide to your customers.
