Vodafone Idea has announced new 30-day and 31-day recharge plans to its portfolio, with prices starting at Rs 327 and Rs 337. This is to comply with TRAI’s recent decision that mandates the telecom service providers to offer at least one 30-day plan and a monthly renewal plan that is renewed on the same date each month. However, the company is yet to introduce a monthly prepaid renewal plan in India. The Rs 327 and Rs 337 Vi recharge plans will compete with Airtel and Jio’s Rs 296 prepaid plan. Here’s a quick look at Vi’s new 30 and 31 days validity plan benefits:
Vi 30 Days Prepaid Plan:
Vi Rs 327 Plan
- Validity: 30 days
- Data: 25GB
- SMS: 100 SMS per day
- Unlimited Voice calls
- Vi Movies and TV subscription
The Rs 327 Vi prepaid plan comes with a validity of 30-days validity. As mentioned above, it includes 25GB of high-speed 4G data with no daily cap. The user also gets unlimited phone calls and 100 SMSes each day. If you exceed the 100 SMS limit, you will be charged the usual SMS rates for local and STDs. In addition, the pack includes a free membership to the Vi Movies and TV app (mobile-only).
Vi 31 Days Prepaid Plan:
Vi Rs 337 Plan
- Validity: 31 days
- Data: 28GB
- SMS: 100 SMS per day
- Unlimited voice calls
- Vi Movies and TV subscription
The Rs 337 Prepaid plan comes with a 31-days validity. The prepaid plan includes 28GB of 4G high-speed data with no daily cap. The Rs 337 recharge entitles the user to unlimited voice calls and 100 SMSes per day. Users will be charged the usual SMS rates for local and STD SMSes after sending 100 SMSes per day. The plan also includes a complimentary subscription to the Vi Movies and TV app (mobile-only).
Vi vs Jio vs Airtel: 30 days prepaid plan compared
Airtel & Jio’s 30 days prepaid plans start at Rs 296. The plans include the same voice, data (25GB), and SMS features as the Vi Rs 327 prepaid plan. As far as the additional benefits are considered, Jio gives you free access to Jio applications (JioCinema, JioTV, JioSaavn, and many more), while Airtel gives you free Wynk Music subscription, an Amazon Prime Video Mobile edition trial pack access, Rs 100 cashback on FASTag, and more.
Apart from this, Reliance Jio has introduced another 30 days prepaid plan with 1.5GB of data as a daily cap. The plan is priced at just Rs 259 which makes it the cheapest prepaid plan with a validity of 30 days. We haven’t heard of a 31-day validity prepaid plan by Airtel or Jio.
