Apple has sent out media invites for an event at the new Steve Jobs Theatre on Tuesday, September 12 at the new Apple campus in Cupertino, California. Apple will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a new iPhone 8 launch. The new phone will showcase a vastly different screen, design, and specs.
Rumours suggest the iPhone 8 will feature a larger display, made possible by removing the Home Button and moving the fingerprint scanner. It is also said to feature wireless charging, new gesture controls and Face ID, a new form of facial recognition that will support Apple Pay.
I know you are excited about it but hold it right there. It will easily be the most expensive handset that Apple has ever created, the iPhone 8 launch price is expected to be anywhere around $1000. Which is why we are expecting Apple to unveil the iPhone7S and 7S Plus, which would look same but offer performance and component upgrades and would cost cheaper than the new flagship smartphone.

The new iPhones are rumored to ditch the traditional Touch ID fingerprint scanner and instead will have 3D sensors for facial recognition. Apple was the first smartphone manufacturer to use a fingerprint scanner and now it is looking for other methods to lock the device. It was rumored that Apple is testing below the screen fingerprint scanner.
As we all know that iOS 11 beta now supports AR developer tools, the iPhone 8 might take it to the next level. Leaks have shown that the iPhone 8 will launch with a vertically stacked dual cameras. The 3D sensor might help Apple to enable Face Unlock features.
