OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei’s London-based consumer technology brand Nothing has announced the launch of Nothing Ear 2 on March 22. Nothing shared an image on its official Twitter handle confirming the successor of Nothing Ear 1. Nothing stunned the whole world with the transparent design aspect of its devices. The company did not say if the product will launch in the Indian and global markets simultaneously.
Carl Pei has been in the news for many different things recently. Nothing founder even reviewed the OnePlus 11 and pointed out various important aspects of the smartphone.
Nothing Ear 2 is one of the most anticipated products in the market. Nothing has already revealed that the Ear 2 will be released on March 22 at 15:00 GMT or 8:30 PM IST. The company has also made the event page live on its website. Let us discuss the expected features of the upcoming Nothing Ear 2.
Nothing Ear 2 Design & features (expected)
It seems like the Nothing team has been working hard on their upcoming products. Carl Pei also announced Nothing’s partnership with Qualcomm for the Phone 2 at MWC 2023. The leaks suggest that the Nothing Ear 2 earbuds will sport the same transparent design as Ear 1.
However, the page says “Better sound. Better clarity. Just better” this means that the upcoming earbuds will sound better with better noise-cancellation and may be a better battery. The leaked renders of Nothing Ear 2 by Smartprix & OnLeaks confirm that the brand will stick to its transparent design signature. It is worth noting that the placement of the cancelling microphone used to be on the top, but it can now be seen near the red dot on Ear 2. The Nothing Ear 1 was launched in India in 2021 at Rs. 5,999. However, the price of Nothing Ear (2) is still unknown but we expect it to be around Rs. 6,999 in India.
Other rumors also predict that the Nothing Ear 2 will probably have Personalized Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). It means the users will be able to set the level of ANC the user wants. There will be the usual “Transparency Mode,” which, as the name suggests, lets outside noise in while music is playing. The leaks also suggest that it will support dual connectivity, which means that users can connect two devices at once and switch between them easily. The earbuds are supposed to feature Advanced EQ support with custom settings and the Find Earbuds Feature.
