Just 4 months in from the launch of an amazing OnePlus 5 and the leaks and rumors of the OnePlus 5T are rocking the internet. The OnePlus 5T leaked images have surfaced online via GizChina along with a teaser image by Android Authority.
OnePlus might launch their latest flagship OnePlus 5T in the month of November, just like the OnePlus 3T was launched in 2016. The teaser image released by Android Authority does not show off the entire device, although it does give us a better look at the display, tiny bezels, and frame. In the image, it can be seen that there is no fingerprint sensor at the front which is common with every OnePlus device so far.

The OnePlus 5T leaked images show a larger 6-inch 2,160 x 1,080 resolution display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Another leak from GizChina revealed the hardware specifications of the device via Antutu Benchmarks. It shows that there will not be a huge change in terms of specifications, but we can expect a major design overhaul just like the Apple iPhone 8, 8 Plus and iPhone X.
The upcoming device recently got listed on OPPO Mart for Pre-orders showcasing the 6-inch bezel-less display. OnePlus 5T leaked images also suggest that there will not be much difference in the hardware of both the devices. Qualcomm has not launched any new chipset as of yet. Thus, the device will come with Snapdragon 835 chipset, Adreno 540 GPU, 6/8 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB with UFS 2.1 internal storage. The device might come with a pair of 20MP sensors at the back with compared to a 20 + 16MP sensors in the OnePlus 5. As the OnePlus has already released Android Oreo 8.0 beta for OnePlus 3T, it is expected that the OnePlus 5T will feature Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
According to Slash leaks, there is no fingerprint scanner on the device in the OnePlus 5T leaked images, so, the device might be the first OnePlus device to feature an on-screen fingerprint scanner. While this is just another speculation, OnePlus might also come up with a face recognition technology to unlock the device. The on-screen fingerprint scanner is being tested by many other manufacturers but none of them has come up with it.
It will be interesting to see how OnePlus makes the OnePlus 5T to stand out from the OnePlus 5 and impress the fans. Do let us know what you think about the upcoming OnePlus device in the comments below!!
