OnePlus 6, the company’s upcoming flagship has been the talk of the town ever since the company’s Co-Founder, Carl Pei revealed that it will sport an iPhone X like notch on top of its display. If the rumors are to believed the company might launch the device in next few weeks or maybe next month.
The company management has revealed some features while a lot is to be seen. The leaks reveal that the new OnePlus flagship device will sport an iPhone X like notch on top of the bezel-less display. The latest leak gives us a clearer look at the front panel of OnePlus 6 confirming the notch and it also shows that a DxOMark review is underway. The device is said to arrive with an Avengers: Infinity War edition in UK.

Recently, the company shifted their domain from oneplus.net to oneplus.com. The company also stated that the address for its store in India has been changed from oneplusstore.in to oneplus.in. “It’s a personal milestone for us, something we’ve wanted for some time but couldn’t achieve when we were just a budding player. On a pragmatic level, we believe this domain change is necessary as we continue to grow. We hope, migrating to .com for all regions will help protect our fans from sites who pose as the regional variation of OnePlus,” said Mingyu, Staff Member, OnePlus.
The renders show a vertically-aligned dual camera setup with a fingerprint sensor which is rectangular in shape. The smartphone features an edge to edge display with a notch on the top which has been confirmed by the company officials. The device will also have a compatibility mode which will let users hide the notch while in landscape mode. It can be set individually for an app and the company claims to have tested over 1000 top apps on playstore.

OnePlus 6 will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. The device might also come in other storage variants, although, the company has not confirmed it yet. The company has also confirmed that their new flagship device will feature a 3.5mm headphone jack and a new teaser video also suggests that the Alert slider could be used manual focusing.
Leaked renders show that the notch will house a front-facing camera, earpiece, and a LED notification light. It is rumored to launch a Bluetooth enabled in-ear headphones with the new flagship device. The OnePlus Bullets Wireless headphones have been spotted on the Bluetooth certification website with model number BT31B and it is registered to OnePlus.
