OnePlus 9RT goes on sale in India today. The smartphone was originally launched in China back in October as a successor to the OnePlus 9R. The smartphone was recently spotted on the Geekbench under the model number OnePlus MT2111, MySmartPrice reported.
OnePlus 9RT Design
The smartphone impresses in terms of design, and it is one of the best designs by OnePlus in recent times. It comes with a slight curve at the back which offers a comfortable grip on the hand. The fingerprint sensor lies under the display as well. The design quotient is similar to that of the other OnePlus 9 series phones. There is a left-aligned camera module at the back with a OnePlus logo at the center.
The smartphone will be available in 2 color variants, viz Nano Silver & Hacker Black. OnePlus ditched the plastic for 9RT over a metal frame. I personally liked the Hacker Black variant with a matte back.

The OnePlus 9RT comes equipped with Snapdragon 888 Soc which is more powerful than the Snapdragon 870 found on the OnePlus 9R. The 9RT has a slightly larger display with 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED when compared to the 6.55-inch display on the OnePlus 9R.
The OnePlus 9RT has a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS & EIS while the 9R has a 48MP main sensor.
Apart from that, the 9RT supports 8 5G bands in India while the 9R supports only a single 5G band.
In my opinion, if you have a OnePlus 9 or 9R, you should wait for the OnePlus 10 to launch. Otherwise, it is a worthy smartphone to consider at this price.
