The OnePlus Nord CE 2 is here. The company has announced that it will reveal the 2nd smartphone in the Nord CE series on 17th February. The Amazon microsite is also live for the device and the listing reveals the charging speed and processor of the device.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Launch event will be live-streamed on the official Youtube channel of OnePlus. OnePlus will also launch the new Y1S and Y1S edge series smart TV’s at the launch event.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Launch Date
The company posted a teaser showcasing the design and confirming the launch date of 17th February. OnePlus will also launch its new TV Y1S and Y1S edge alongside the Nord CE 2. The OnePlus devices are usually exclusive to Amazon and its official website.
Design
Similar to the previous generation of Nord CE, the Nord CE 2 misses out on the Alert slider. The volume rockers are located on the left while the Power button sits on the right edge. There is a slightly raised triple camera setup with an elegant curve at the back. The camera module houses two large camera lenses, a small lens, and an LED flash. At the front, the device will feature a flat display with a left-aligned selfie cut-out. As per a recent announcement on the OnePlus website, the Nord CE 2 will be available in two color variants namely Bahama Blue and Grey Mirror.
Specifications
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 specifications have leaked online ahead of the launch. The company has confirmed the 65W SuperVooc charging and the MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G ready chipset for the device. It is also certain that the device will sport a 3.5mm headphone jack. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 will be the first OnePlus smartphone to feature an external SD card support up to 1TB.
As far as the rumours are true, the smartphone will sport a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ support. It will have an in-display fingerprint scanner and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset will be paired with 6GB or 8GB RAM while the internal storage could go up to 128GB. There is a chance that the phone could run Android 12 based Oxygen OS out of the box.
In terms of optics, the triple rear cameras comprise a 64MP OmniVision sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. A 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
The phone could house a 4500mAh battery with a 65W SuperVooc flash charge that can provide a day’s power in just 15 minutes of charge.
Price in India
The OnePlus Nord 2 CE is expected to launch in India in two storage variants. The 6GB/128GB variant could cost you Rs 23,999 while the 8GB/128GB variant could be priced at Rs 25,999.
