OnePlus has been teasing the launch of its new device for quite some time now. The brand has finally revealed that a new Nord is incoming. The company has revealed that it will be launching OnePlus Nord CE 5G along with a new OnePlus smart TV in the 10th June launch event. One Plus Nord CE 5G micro-site is now live on Amazon India. A dedicated micro-site has been made live for the OnePlus Nord CE 5G revealing more features of the device. At 7.9mm OnePlus Nord Core Edition will feature a sleek and streamlined design. We also know that the device will come with a headphone jack. Here’s what we know about the upcoming Nord phone so far.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G: Specifications
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G specifications have been leaked ahead of the 10th June launch event. MySmartPrice has exclusively revealed that the OnePlus Nord CE will feature a Snapdragon 750G SoC along with a 64MP triple camera setup at the back. The smartphone will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080 x 2400p. Having an AMOLED display allows the Nord CE to have an in-display fingerprint sensor and a punch-hole for the selfie camera. Similar to the previous Nord, the Core Edition will also have a polycarbonate build.
Talking of the processor, it is an octa-core 8nm chipset. The 750G chipset is a performance-oriented 5G chipset tuned to deliver a great gaming experience. The company might launch this smartphone with two storage variants viz. 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.
In terms of cameras, the Nord CE will sport a 64MP Omnivision sensor as the main sensor, along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The punch-hole will house a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
The company has already confirmed a 3.5mm headphone jack with a thinner form factor at 7.9mm. However, the smartphone manufacturer has managed to fit in a 4500mAh battery. It will support the Warp Charge 30T that is a 30W fast charging technology from OnePlus.
The Nord Core Edition is expected to sport a similar design keeping the signature Alert slider and a pill-shaped rear camera at the back.
It was also revealed that the phone will be offered in Charcoal Ink, which should be a black color option but there should be more color variants for OnePlus Nord CE 5G.
Price in India
The OnePlus Nord CE fills the gap left out by the previous OnePlus Nord and will be priced below ₹25000 in India. The pre-orders will start from 11th June bundled with goodies worth ₹2,699.
One Plus Nord CE goes head-on with the iQOO Z3 5G in this price segment which is launching on 8th June.
