Oppo is hosting a launch event in China to launch the flagship Find X6 series, the Oppo Pad 2, and some more products on March 21. As we all know that Oppo is the parent company of OnePlus, so it is most likely that the Oppo Pad 2 and the OnePlus Pad are the same devices. It is speculated that the company plans to launch the tablet in the global market along with OenPlus Pad. Let’s dive into the details.
Oppo Pad 2 Global Launch Expected
The famous tipster Mukul Sharma shared the information via a tweet that the global launch of the Oppo Pad 2 is scheduled for March 21 along with the Oppo Enco Free 3 and Oppo Find X6 series. The tipster also shared pictures of the tablet which looks identical to the OnePlus Pad and also revealed the Magnetic Keyboard and Stylus.
That being said, if it is a global launch then most probably the Oppo Pad 2 could be launched in India. Although, there hasn’t been any confirmation by Oppo till now. The Oppo Pad 2 looks just like the OnePlus Pad with a big rear camera bump, rounded corners, magnetic keyboard, and magnetic stylus support. The only difference is the Oppo logo instead of the OnePlus.
Oppo Pad 2 Specifications
Talking of specs, we can expect them to be the same as the OnePlus Pad. We expect it to sport a metal unibody design and an 11.6-inch 2.8K LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate. In another tweet, Mukul Sharma confirmed that the tablet will sport a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. However, a Geekbench listing has hinted at a Snapdragon 888 SoC for the Oppo Pad 2. I believe the global variant might come with a Snapdragon chipset.
In terms of camera, you can expect a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. The Oppo Pad 2 will house a 9,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging and the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 skin. Similar to the OnePlus Pad, we expect Oppo’s new tablet to come with quad speakers and Dolby Atmos support.
