Under the hood, the Honor 90 is powered by the formidable Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, ensuring swift performance and multitasking capabilities. It is only the second smartphone to use a 7 Gen 1 processor after the Pocco F5 5G in the country. The smartphone will be available in 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB storage.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the phone’s versatile camera setup, which includes a whopping 200MP primary camera for incredibly detailed shots, along with a 12MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor to add creative flair to your photos.

The phone sports a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

To keep you connected and productive throughout the day, the Honor 90 packs a substantial 5,000mAh battery. Furthermore, it supports 66W Fast charging with the included charger.

In terms of software, the smartphone will ship with Android 13-based MagicOS 7.1 out of the box.

Price & Availability

According to insights from The Mobile Indian, the Honor 90 smartphone is expected to carry a price tag of approximately ₹35,000 in the Indian market. This makes the smartphone a direct competitor of other popular smartphones like the OnePlus Nord 3 5G, iQoo Neo 7 Pro, and Poco F5 5G.

In its debut in China, the Honor 90 made its mark with an initial price of CNY 2,499, translating to roughly ₹29,000 in Indian currency, for the base model featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Furthermore, upscale variants might offer 16GB of RAM and a choice between 256GB or 512GB of storage, priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately ₹32,680) and CNY 2,999 (around ₹35,017).

The phone is expected to launch on 21st September in India.


An intriguing aspect of this launch is that it heralds the return of the Honor brand to India, following a three-year absence. Previously affiliated with Huawei, Honor now stands as an independent entity, rekindling its presence in the Indian market.
