Samsung Galaxy F62: Features and Specifications
Let’s talk about the features and specifications of the phone.
Samsung Galaxy F62 sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ sAMOLED Infinity-O display. The display has a maximum brightness of up to 420 nits and an aspect ratio of 20:9.
Samsung is touting the Galaxy F62’s performance by using the flagship 7nm Exynos 9825 Processor. This makes Galaxy F62 become one of the best-performing smartphones in the segment. The flagship processor is coupled with the powerful Mali G76 GPU for top-notch gaming performance.
In terms of storage, the device comes in 6GB/128GB and an 8GB/128GB variant. The internal storage is UFS 3.0 which can be expanded up to 1TB by a dedicated micro SD card slot.
The Galaxy F62 derives its juice from a massive 7000mAh battery which supports 25W fast charging as well as reverse charging. While we have seen much faster-charging technology in the market, 25W remains standard across Samsung. The good thing is that the company is including a charger in the retail box.
Let us talk about the cameras on the device. The Samsung Galaxy F62 comes with a single 32MP punch-hole selfie camera and a quad-camera setup at the back. The rear quad-camera setup is equipped with a 64MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP depth sensor, and 5MP macro lens. Both the front and rear camera modules are capable of shooting 4k videos. It also features Samsung’s Single Take which gives up to 14 outputs in one take.
As far as the design is concerned, the smartphone stands out with a glossy back that comes with vertical lines. There is a microphone at the top, a power button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor, volume rockers are on the left edge as well. The sim tray sits on the left edge while at the bottom there is a bottom-firing speaker along with the 3.5mm headphone jack. Overall the design is quite impressive and despite a huge battery the weight is evenly distributed and the device doesn’t feel bulky. Although, the smartphone is made of plastic. It doesn’t feel cheap at all.
It will be available in 3 different colors viz laser green, laser grey, and laser blue.
Galaxy F62 comes with Android 11 based One UI 3.1. The device comes with a quick Face Unlock and side-mounted fingerprint sensor which is secured by Knox Security.
